How to prepare

  1. Peal and dice the butternut squash into small cubes.
  2. Boil vinegar, sugar and water together with spices and lemon peel.
  3. Remove the pot from the heat and add the butternut squash and allow to cool.
  4. Serve in salads or as a good accompaniment for fish, chicken, meat and vegetarian food.
